There is a real need for qualitative research in simulation from both the student and faculty side, for those of you who do qualitative research. I have found one article on qualitative findigns and seen one abstract from a conference on qualitative findings. There will be an article in next month's Clinical Simulation in Nursing journal about evaluating simulation experiences. It's a practical model that looks at a variety of data points to offer fairly comprehensive feedback about the effectiveness of simulation activities from both the student and faculty member's perspective.
